OUR VISION

SPANISH-SPEAKING COMMUNITIES WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
AND PREPARE THEM AS MISSIONARIES
OUR HISTORY
LatinoAmerican World Mission started in Lansing, MI as part of Dario Iturra's calling from God during his ministry and studies at Great Lakes Christian College.
In December 2015, LAWM began as an Independent Non-Profit Christian Organization in the state of Michigan, and consists of a board of directors. That board of directors consists of Christians, leaders and members of GLCC and churches around Lansing.
LatinoAmerican World Mission is affiliated with the Christian Churches that are part of the Restoration Movement.

What We Believe
GOD
We believe there is one only God that created everything. We believe that God exists in three persons who are perfect in unity and share the same divine nature: God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, one with God the Father and one with Jesus the Son of God. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who leads people to salvation in Jesus. We believe the Holy Spirit is a gift from God to all of those that believe in Jesus Christ, who helps all Christians and the Christian Church to live the purpose of God.
John 16:8-9; Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:13-14
SALVATION
We believe that God wants to save all people. We believe that God's salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe the Bible clearly teaches the path to give our lives to Christ is to believe in Him, as God’s Son, the Savior of the world, repent of personal sin and from an independent way of life far away from God, confess Christ publicly as Lord, and be baptized into water.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Colossians 2:6; John 3:16; Romans 10:9; Acts 2:36-38; Mark 16:16
DISCIPLESHIP
We believe that discipleship starts with the faithful preaching of the Gospel, and continues as teaching Christ life from the Bible to all of those who believed in Him, and it is what all Christians must continue doing with other people throughout all the world.
Matthew 28:19-20
LEADERSHIP
We believe that part of our missionary work is preparing new Christian leaders among the Hispanic community, leaders who will lead new churches and will impact all areas of this world. We believe the Church needs new leaders who are committed to God and His Word. We believe that we need to pray and financially support new current Christian leaders in the mission field.
Acts 14:23; 20: 28-31, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesús is the Son of God that came to this world to save those who believe in Him. We believe that Jesus Christ is God who incarnated as human with the purpose of the forgiveness of sins, and to reconcile humanity with God the Father through his sacrifice in the cross and his resurrection from the dead.
Matthew 1:22-23; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. We believe that the Bible was written by men who were inspired by God to register the revelation of His person, His will and His plan of salvation for humankind. We believe the Bible is without error in its original manuscripts. We believe that the Bible contains and describes the true Gospel which is powerful to lead all people into salvation in Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160, 12:6
MISSIONS
We believe Jesus Christ, our Lord, gave us a clear mission that is for all Christians and for the Church, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you;.." Mateo 28:19-20 (NASB)
We are committed to this mission.
CHURCH PLANTING
We believe that church planting is part of God's plan. We believe that church planting will help new Christians to grow in their faith in Christ. We believe that church planting will help to make more disciples of Christ. We believe that starting new churches will help prepare new Christian leaders who will go to the world to share the Gospel and make more disciples of Christ.
Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 14:23; 16:5, Romans 15:20, Titus 1:5
SECOND COMMING OF JESUS
We believe, we preach, and we teach about the second coming of Jesus Christ who will return for all those who believe in Him. We believe in a eternal life with God as a result of our salvation in Jesus Christ. We believe that those that do not believe and surrender their lives to Christ will experience an eternal separation from God.
John 3:16; 1 John 2:25, 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15
